The Hakka Heritage and Culture Day is an annual event that began in 2014 to keep alive our unique Hakka identity and to foster the interest of future generations.
There are cooking demonstrations, samples to taste, home-cooked food to buy, calligraphy lessons, Chinese painting demonstrations, entertainment can be in the form of music from the Chinese Harp/Guzhang or a performance of a typical Chinese dance.
A pictorial chronicle of the Hakka migration or the tracing of a family tree brings to life the history of the Hakkas.
